Summary of Inputs Window

Overview

Allows users to check the inputs to their calculations before proceeding.

After pressing the Calculate button in the Display Results module then the User Inputs data will be updated informing the user of the data values which will be used for calculations. The main input parameters used for defining the grid and performing the analysis are displayed.

Optional selections

Increase segmentation - optional feature which applies additional segmentation based on depth since in general shallow segments of complex grids require more segments to improve accuracy.
Calculate step potentials (for Sinusoidal mode only) - The calculation and plotting of step voltages (which takes longer than calculating touch voltages) is optional. Often it may not be necessary to calculate step potentials and this will save significant calculation time.

Press 'Calculate' to perform the calculation.
