Segment Edit Options

Overview

To access the segment edit options, select any grid segment(s) and right-click the mouse.

Faulted segment - sets the selected segment as the faulted segment.

Conductor type - Select the conductor type for the segment that was defined under Design Settings. Conductor types are settable from the Design Settings module.

Coating - Changes the segment type to insulated or bare.

Tag name - Assigns a tag name for a particular segment. Tags can be managed in the Tags manager.

Add Segment - Adds a segment.

Add Rod - Adds a rod.

Add Grid - Adds a new standard grid.

Copy - Duplicate segments and place a copy at a specified location.

Move - Reposition segments without changing their orientation.

Rotate2D - Rotate segments through an angle about a base point.

Reverse - Reverse segment directions.

Split - Divides a segment into two points.

Scale - Enlarge or reduce the segment while maintaining the relative proportions.

Array - Creates copies of the selected segment along x-, y- and z-axes.
